Re: Is this a scam? iPhone 6S

I struggle to understand how you sell for $1,000 as you say when they retail for over $600 more. The buy in bulk thing does not convince me as I know someone who works for a retailer who buys in bulk and they cannot get them for $1,000. My gut says it's too good to be true and the fact there is no de...

Beware Mass Autograph forgeries from seller rainbowgal2

As the title says, beware mass forgeries from seller rainbowgal2. Selling fakes everything from Madonna for $20, Kylie Minogue and Dwayne Johnson for $15. Sellers like this destroy this hobby with this garbage. Rainbowgal2 is selling nothing but forgeries so avoid and buy genuine items. Sellers item...

Fake Music Autographs on Trade Me

Recently there have been a fair few autographs being sold on Trade Me from everyone ranging from Taylor Swift, Jessie J through to Bruce Springsteen all of which are just awful forgeries. The prices alone should be an indication that these items are bad fakes. I have placed below item numbers and a ...

Re: Misleading Auction Representation

Firstly being a member of any Organisation or an Authenticator does not mean an item they are selling or representing is authentic. The first and only thing that matters with any seller is are they selling authentic items as some sellers claim items were signed in front of them when they are secreta...

Re: Suspicious Music Memrobilia

Peter Wilson is a genuine JP but a JP cannot verify anything unless it was signed in their presence. He previously traded as seller beach36 on Trade Me and sold hundreds of forgeries and then switched to his current username.

Re: Celebrity autographs... genuine?

You are correct. Both the Neil Young and Yoko Ono's are both awful fakes. Peter Wilson did NOT witness a signing and is scamming people. LegendsLegends is not to be trusted and any autographs from him are likely forgeries.

Re: Celebrity autographs... genuine?

BUYER BEWARE!!! Not only is seller usgolfpro still selling many questionable signed photos without any authentication but it appears our old friend beach36 who was kicked off Trade Me is now back as seller legendslegends. http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listings.aspx?searchtype=SELLER&member=445311...

Re: Fake Elvis, Beatles and Marilyn Monroe autographs!

Thankfully even Trade Me stopped this sale going ahead even for the $151 some fools had bid. The seller even acknowledged the item was a forgery and claimed it was his uncles and tried to sell on another account.

Re: Celebrity autographs... genuine?

An update on Autographs being sold by usgolfpro also known as David Wright. I have noticed that he is selling a lot of items starting at $1 that are definitely NOT real. For example the Shailene Woodley autographed photos he sells are not signed by her. He recently sold a Gene Wilder photo that was ...

Re: Celebrity autographs... genuine?

Just a quick update on this seller. Most stuff is authenticated and genuine but beware the unauthenticated items. I am very suspicious of any seller that has 3 or 4 photos of the same celebrity and yet only 2 have authentication. In my experience this often means that the seller has sent them all fo...

Re: Possible Fake Autographed Guitars

Even people who have dealt with autographs for 30 years sometimes struggle to tell sometimes if a signature is real or fake. 95% can be spotted fairly easy as the fakes are signed slowly and leave marks or tend to miss loops or grooves that the real signature will have and have no natural rythym. Ho...

Re: Possible Fake Autographed Guitars

In addition to the dodgy guitars some of the other items listed on the site are a real mix of good and bad. usgolfpro on the whole sells mainly genuine items. However, he appears in the past to have purchased some items from overseas sites and then either they were already authenticated by Chritsoph...

Re: Possible Fake Autographed Guitars

I note that our latest signup is called "autographman" and imagine he'll be contributing to this thread before long. Hi Digidog and thank you for the introduction to this site from trade me. I have authenticated autographs on and off around the world for several years and I have to say that trade m...
