We can expect smart lawyers to start quoting this as a reason to let ratbag crooks walk free from now on.

Bad decision!

Re: Canvas fingerprinting - more intrusive than cookies

More information on this tracker fromGhostery (anti tracking Firefox addon).

I run Ghostery in addition to Adblock as Adblock does not adequately stop the range of trackers that Ghostery does (1955 trackers at date). Not sure how Ghostery handles canvas fingerprinting.

Re: Timewasters who should be disabled

Something I hadn't noticed before when looking at this. The links to auctions on feedback have now disappeared. Good one Trademe, just another pointless change making it harder for real buyers to adequately research things.

Re: Nicky Hager Legal Fund

I take an alternate view to this. Nicky Hager based his book on the proceeds of crime (the hacking and stealing of Whaleoil's emails). Nicky Hager has acknowleged that he was aware from the outset that this information had been obtained criminally. I believe the Police were acting as I would expect ...

Re: Spark ("Bubble" / XT / TELECOM) = FAIL!

A good article.

The obvious question that should have been asked by the press was "How come malware (from porn) only affects Spark customers?". This argument was so obviously bogus, but the press is focussed on irrelevance and is unable to do the job. No wonder the MSM is going down the toilet.
