Charity Art Auction

Post by soloveart » Sat Jun 04, 2005 12:16 pm

LISTING on JUNE 5th
in NZ originals between 7pm-9pm
$1 reserve for 7 days

Title :- Tauranga Flood Relief Charity Auction $1 reserve

The NZ Art Guild and the artists of TradeMe are proud to present the TradeMe charity art auction. All the proceeds will go to help the unfortunate victims of the recent floods in Tauranga.

The auctions start at an incredible $1 reserve, so take advantage of this amazing opportunity to buy some of the best Original NZ art work available from many of New Zealand's popular artists.

The artists have donated their time and materials for free, so all the money you pay goes directly to the flood victims (excluding postage costs & TradeMe fees). The artists who have generously contributed to this worthwhile cause are (in alphabetical order):

Jac Bell-Walsh, Tessa Birks, Rachel Burrell, Amanda Cass, Karina Davies, Christine Dempster, Collette Fergus, Gillian Harrop, Paul Hutchinson, Sophia Lovell, Antonia Marino, Michael Mayhew, Vicky-Anne McCallum, Lisa Ormsby, Jeanine Oxenius, Trish Penn, Nicola Reeves, Catherine Sanvictores, Wen Seow, Paulette Shepherd, Debbie Small, Shelly van Soest, Davina Stone (*age 6), Tracey Stringer, Victoria Te Tau, Rachael Vincent, Joanne Wedding, Monika Welch, Jamie Wiggins, Taryn Wilson.

You may never find yourself in this situation, but consider just how difficult it is for them. Please help these people to rebuild their lives.

Sophia Lovell
Antonia Marino
Managers, NZ Art Guild

Thanks everyone for contributing - we hope this goes well!!!

If we have left anyone off the list we apologise - let us know asap and we will email everyone involved to update the list.

charity

Just a note regarding Rinka and Vickyanne, they are still doing a charity auction however the proceeds are going towards a fellow artist who has fallen on hard times.

Cheers

To be fair to all bidders , I hereby give you my word that I will not bid over $500.00 for any individual Tauranga Flood Charity auction - unless its a really good one!

I must say that it's nice to see all the artists bidding on each others work, who said that they were all jealous, doesn't look like that to me. :D
