How to post lists - bulleted, lettered, numbered.

Post by delta » Sat Aug 12, 2006 3:41 am

This is a brief introduction to the LIST gadget.

Bulleted list

Code: Select all

item one
item two
item three
• item one
  • item two
  • item three
Lettered list

Code: Select all

item one
item two
item three
1. item one
  2. item two
  3. item three
Numbered list

Code: Select all

item one
item two
item three
1. item one
  2. item two
  3. item three
Or you can get really carried away with imbedded lists...

Code: Select all

outer item one

inner item one
inner item two
inner item three

outer item two

other inner item one
other inner item two

and just to show off
by doing this

other inner item three

outer item three
• outer item one
    1. inner item one
    2. inner item two
    3. inner item three
  • outer item two
    1. other inner item one
    2. other inner item two
      1. and just to show off
      2. by doing this
    3. other inner item three
  • outer item three
but as you can see, the preprocessor hiccups a bit with the left margin. And with the inter-list line spacing.

By the way, the CODE gadget prevents the preprocessor preprocessing preprocessor directives within the CODE tags. Clear? :?
