Be on the look out for dodgy Windows 7

Fake copies of Microsoft Office, operating systems, memory cards and flash drives, fake designer clothing... anything of that nature. At any given time TM offers thousands of fake itmes which breach their terms & conditions... and often do little about the problem. This is the place to discuss the issue.

Be on the look out for dodgy Windows 7

Post by rusticdog » Wed Aug 26, 2009 8:11 am

There's been a case of a student(s) selling their copies they obtain through the learning institutes, refunds have now apparently been processed.

Another auction was withdrawn after the seller was made aware that MSDN versions of Windows are not for public sale

Here's a Windows 7 that I know has been CW'd by a couple of folk, still up almost 24 hours later. Admits it's a MSDN copy which are not for resale

This one is highly suspect.

Windows 7 Pro SP1 32-64bit (Full Version License)

It is just a license, ordered from Microsoft store online, not the retail DVD. It don't support the online download from MS directly.
Looking at Microsoft's website, i cannot see any Windows 7 still for sale.
I have also never seen windows sold with just a license and no DVD

More software by the same trader, clearly too cheap to be genuine

Selling heaps of Win 7/8, Office Pro and Adobe "license keys" with link to download software etc. Has only been selling since 30 march and already 188 feedback.

I used to sell Win 7 that was genuine and trade me were not to bad at policing these, have they given up now? Is it worth me reporting?
