Suspicous and Fake Flash Drives

Fake copies of Microsoft Office, operating systems, memory cards and flash drives, fake designer clothing... anything of that nature. At any given time TM offers thousands of fake itmes which breach their terms & conditions... and often do little about the problem. This is the place to discuss the issue.

any unbranded 2TB drive is going to be fake.

The largest one is kinsgstons DataTraveler HyperX Predator
http://www.kingston.com/en/usb/personal ... ss#DTHXP30

You can see how large it needs to be to fit that much memory

Newegg has one listed for US$850

it`s easy enough to determine fake size drives (but not all) on the Chinese sites
http://www.aliexpress.com/item/2015-Bes ... 20222.html

Flash memory drives prices will always very nearly be double for every doubling of capacity.
a Genuine 128GB Drive will be roughly twice the price of a 64Gb one.

if you see only a few dollars difference in the differnt choices as in the aliexpress listing above it is an indication of a hacked drive

its been a while since someone listed a toshiba

64 Gig USB drive
http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/exte ... 893700.htm

these are the drives were the spacing for the `6` digit on the drive is spaced different than the rest of the printing making it an easy pick as fake.
