Suspicous and Fake Flash Drives

Fake copies of Microsoft Office, operating systems, memory cards and flash drives, fake designer clothing... anything of that nature. At any given time TM offers thousands of fake itmes which breach their terms & conditions... and often do little about the problem. This is the place to discuss the issue.

Despite good advice from people in the Q&A, dreamjewels was adamant that this was really a 1Tb drive. He posted:
While I appreciate that some people out there THINK that these are not what I am advertising I suggest that you read my answers above. I HAVE due to the "Trade Me Police" been contacted and have given them all the details of my tests and if their techies are satisfied, so should you be. These were bought in good faith and so far I have failed to prove otherwise.
I doubt that the TM techies would be fooled by drives as obviously fake as this one. Two traders referred the seller to this eBay "Fool your buddies" link before he correctly withdrew the auction.

It's a rerun of an earlier unsold auction (with a question & response about the capacity).

Auction implied he has more than one to sell.
Google, the answer to so many questions!

500GB USB Key

Hi, what brand is it,please? Thanks charles168 (293 293 positive feedback) 2:21 pm, Wed 15 Apr

Unbranded, as it ideally used for marketing events (where the company could put their logo on it). I have leftover items from an event and am selling separately. Hence the low price.(I believe, but can not confirm they are originally Kingston drives) 2:35 pm, Wed 15 Apr

This one is not a Kingston. It's an imitation of the Lacie key drive - nice little units -- https://www.lacie.com/us/products/product.htm?id=10611 -- but they only make them up to 32Gb capacity. 500Gb for this price? It's clearly a fake.
