Suspicous and Fake Flash Drives

Fake copies of Microsoft Office, operating systems, memory cards and flash drives, fake designer clothing... anything of that nature. At any given time TM offers thousands of fake itmes which breach their terms & conditions... and often do little about the problem. This is the place to discuss the issue.

512GB USB2.0 Slim Flash Drive-Brand New
http://www.trademe.co.nz/computers/exte ... 194355.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
- Now withdrawn by TradeMe -

Apart from the $79 im-a-hacked-capacity reserve, it is completely impossible to fit 512GB of Memory into a drive that small.

Calling Googlybear... is there any chance that this could be genuine? I can't find any reference to this drive apart from Alibaba.

not a hope. Kingston would never release a USB Drive packed like that.

all Kingston Consumer drives are named as `Data travelers` so have a model number in the format of with `DT-xxx` on the drive and `data Traveler xxx` on the packaging

techexpertltd is back. You'll recall that he bought 240 fake drives for $100 using his (now disabled) ggfieryimage account. This time he's selling five "32Gb" drives at $1 reserve.

TM are currently pathetic at removing the generic hacked capacity drives presently despite all being sold at `too good to be true` prices.

The metal swivel cap types that were never produced in sizes greater than around 16GB seem to making a comeback.
Here`s another one listed as being a `Gift` which usually makes TM more prone to pulling it.

- Sold for $35 -
Got two as a gift, so I don't need this one. Actual storage capacity is around 499Gb free space, so HUGE.

The `6` Digit is the wrong font and its spacing in regard to the rest of the printing is not consistent.
