nzhomeimports: Weazly Feedback Collecting

Shill bidding, contact details in auctions… anything that’s not a scam per se but breaches TM’s terms and conditions.

nzhomeimports: Weazly Feedback Collecting

Post by Googlybear » Sat Apr 21, 2012 12:47 pm

Every once in a while when selling $1 Items on TM, you get a newbie trader bidding with no intention of paying for the item.
just wants you too leave them feedback so they can increase their star rating.

The latest one is
nzhomeimports
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Listin ... er=4061152" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Complete with FB Page showing the dishonest sellers that left a positive on all the $1 unsuccessful trades
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Members/Feedba ... er=4061152" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

This Trade Closed on the 2nd with FB left the same day

3 FBs left on the 1ST of April for Auctions that were only won the day before (a weekend) :roll:

another trader left this load of crap
impc (1784 ) Address Verified Nov 2011 31 Mar 2012
nzhomeimports was the buyer
(#456205055)
EXCELLENT & Abso-lutely--; Brilliant Trader in all aspects, Get in touch quick , Fast response with Prompt payment. Great example of a genuine buyer. I would Highly Recommended to anyone if you wish hassle a free trades

Unfortunately for nzhomeimports it backfired with the last seller who has enough scruples to bust them.

This trader also had the cheek to leave retaliatory FB on the trader who busted them

abbeyjayne was the seller
Sold for $.50
(#459792768)
Offered to pay more than the price of the chairs and yet still placed a negative feedback
trader responded: 6 Apr 2012
Payment instructions were sent, but no payment received. Not much more I can do here.

sale did not go through, but buyer offered to pay anyway. Mistakes happen, no harm done.

I notified TM regarding this trader.
They removed the retaliatory FB left on abbeyjayne and hopefully will take other appropriate action

Wonder if TM warned sellers for selling feedbacks?
