The anti-Muslim film smells distinctly fishy

Post by digidog » Sat Sep 15, 2012 12:13 am

The anti-Muslim film "The Real Life of Muhammad" which has sparked riots in the arab world and resulted in seven deaths so far
is seeming more like a fake with each passing day. Nobody has actually seen the full "film" and the dodgy character behind it has
a very shady past. He's been imprisoned for bank fraud and for methamphetamine production, but in each case he slipped out of
jail after a couple of days. There are rumours that he's a US govt informant.

I have my own theory. A quick glance at the "film" trailer on YouTube shows that it's a quite pathetic attempt at filmmaking by
someone who doesn't have a clue. With cardboard characters, lousy sound and the worst blue screen I've seen in a while, this isn't
a film. It's a pathetic attempt to generate anti-American sentiment. And sadly, it's working.

Al Qaeda would be proud of this result. So what's the chance they're actually behind this one? That's my theory for now.

LA police have interviewed Nakoula Basseley - the man claimed to be behind the anti-Muslim "film". Apparently his probation
conditions (he was found guilty of bank fraud using over 600 fake accounts) specifies that he's not allowed to use a computer
or access the internet for five years. He's not a popular person in the US.

The director of "Innocence of Muslims" has been revealed as one Alan Roberts - his real name is Robert Brownell. He's a soft porn
filmmaker of no consequence.

Meanwhile the entire cast and crew of the "film" have told CNN that they were misled and that the script they were working from did not
contain any reference to Muhammed. The offensive audio was dubbed on at a later stage.

Meanwhile, Google has refused White House requests to remove the video.
