Microsoft Outlook 2013 - no legacy support

Post by digidog » Fri Dec 21, 2012 12:34 am

Thinking of upgrading to Outlook 2013? Well if you've been in business for a few years you might need to think twice about that.
Outlook 2013 won’t let you import or export data to or from .doc or .xls files for Word 1997 to 2003 and Excel versions 1997 to 2003, the company has revealed in a blog.

There is a solution. It's called FOSS, and the representative for this is LibreOffice.

Why anyone would want to be beholden to M$ my$tifie$ me!
Google, the answer to so many questions!
